Building a Stronger Community
OTIP and its members, including Ontario education employees, our policyholders, our employees and our Trustees, have a long history of community involvement. The OTIP Community Fund is designed to support the charitable programs that impact the communities in which we live and work, including the ongoing success of families and youth, member health, and social improvement endeavours.
We’re here to help. We support organizations that are strategically focused on:
Families and Youth
Improving universal access to services, programs and resources, as well as stabilizing
children and families in crisis
Member Health
Promoting awareness and supporting education about issues affecting our members
Social Improvement
Providing access to activities that foster social connections, life skills and self-confidence
Selection Criteria
In addition to the criteria outlined above, organizations seeking support from the OTIP Community Fund must meet the following requirements to be considered:
-
operate as a not-for-profit organization in Canada
-
directly impact or benefit the communities where the OTIP Group of Companies has a significant business presence
-
demonstrate sound financial management and effective use of resources
