Work-life Balance
OTIP recognizes that employees have different needs and work preferences at various stages in their
careers. We support alternative work arrangements, wherever possible, to help our employees balance
their personal and professional commitments.
Flexible work hours
OTIP offers flex time to further our commitment to the well-being of our employees. Employees are given
the option of various flex time options based on maintaining our high level of service during peak operating
hours. If the nature of your job allows, you and your supervisor can work out an arrangement that allows you
to work full-time, but with modified hours so you can fulfill personal commitments like dropping off your children
at school, going to the gym or completing volunteer work.
Part-time hours
Some positions at OTIP are classified as part-time where employees work less than 35 hours per week. Your
compensation, salary-related benefits and vacation time are adjusted accordingly. Medical and dental benefits
remain the same as that of full-time employees as long as you are working a minimum of 17.5 hours per week.
Telecommuting
If the nature of your job allows for telecommuting, you may be able to work away from the office for part
of the work week.
