Changes in definition may affect condo unit owners
Recently, many condominium corporations revised their definitions of a “standard” unit leaving a large number of unit owners without adequate insurance. Whether your condo is insured with OTIP or with another company, be sure you have sufficient insurance protection. Twelve children or grand children of OTIP members have each been awarded a $1,500 bursary through the OTIP Bursary Program.

OTIP bursary applications for the 2010-2011 academic year are already being accepted! The deadline to apply each year is June 15. Winners’ names are drawn at random from the pool of applicants.
Giving Back
Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving (OSAID) is a youth-driven organization with chapter members in over 60 percent of Ontario's secondary schools. OSAID is focused on educating people of all ages about the dangers of impaired driving due to any cause. OTIP has a representative sitting on OSAID's Board of Directors, and provides financial support for campaigns.
