claims handling services.
Premium administration
The management of benefit funding is a large part of the financial security of your benefit plan. Funding is used
to pay for the costs associated with providing benefits. Our premium administration area specializes in working with
the affiliate, the members and the board to ensure that the appropriate funding and related information is collected,
validated, recorded and reported. We also provide premium administration services for leaves and retirees.
Claims administration
OTIP group life and disability claims coordinates all LTD and life claims from start to finish, ensuring your members
receive the highest level of service.
Our dedicated service centre – OTIP benefits services – provides answers to all health and dental claims-related
questions. Our team is specifically designed to address the unique service requirements of your members.
OTIP claims and administration forms and reimbursement cheques are utilized in the claims process.
Third party administration
OTIP is pleased to provide third party administrative services to our group clients, including enrollment, premium administration,
audits, troubleshooting for benefit reimbursement and annual coverage verification. Our high-tech, high-touch model, ensures
you receive efficient, personalized service. Working with OTIP means you are part of a larger group of education employees, giving
you access to support and systems customized to meet your needs.
Ensuring that members are fully aware of their benefit options is important. OTIP specializes in education; so we
designed our enrollment processes around the education timetable. Our team of experts handle enrollment
information for all types of members, including full-time and part-time active members, members on leave, and retired
members.
Retiree benefit administration
OTIP designs, implements and provides customized benefit programs for your retired members. We take care of all of your administrative
functions including enrollment, communication, benefit administration, and billing and premium collection for retired members. These services
can be utilized to administer coverage between your retired members and OTIP or alternatively, between your retired members and their current
benefit provider.
