to provide education and training to the local executives and members on how to develop educated consumers

Life Balance (1 hour workshop)
Stress related to work and time management is a challenge faced by many educators. Participants will begin
to identify areas of dissatisfaction and create goals and action plans for achieving balance in work and life.
Financial Planning (1 to 2 hour seminar)
Presented in collaboration with a professional financial planner
from OTG Financial Inc., topics of interest
include investing, budgeting and financial planning, as well as risk management and personal insurance.
Walk Into Retirement With A Plan (1 day workshop – Saturday)
Participants will get the knowledge and motivation needed to make informed decisions and simplify the retirement
planning process. Topics of interest include lifestyle planning, financial planning, and retiree health, travel

Communications
OTIP's communications department produces a number of bilingual pieces, including forms, bulletins
and other materials that can be customized to assist you in communicating the different aspects of your benefit plan
to your members. We also write numerous articles throughout the year for publication in local newsletters and produce Fast Facts (PDF, 161 KB) a summary of benefits and legislation relevant to employees in Ontario. Let your account manager know how we can assist you with your communications needs.
From time to time, you may wish to survey your members to better understand their benefit needs. OTIP
