How do I change my address?
Contact an OTIP representative by calling 1-800-267-6847. If you have various policies with OTIP (e.g. auto,
home, health), ask our receptionist to direct you to the proper area.
How do I change my banking information for my monthly payments?
Contact an OTIP representative by calling 1-800-267-6847. Have your new banking information ready and the
effective date of the change.
Does OTIP offer service in English and French?
Yes, OTIP offers service in both official languages and will be pleased to assist you in English or French.
Does OTIP insure only teachers?
OTIP insures education employees in Ontario and their immediate family (spouse, dependant children, parents) – this
includes teachers, principals, board of education employees, office staff, trades and teaching affiliate members.
I am an education employee – why should I insure with OTIP?
OTIP offers tailored insurance solutions designed for the education community. You can save with our special rates for your auto, home, life and/or retiree health insurance. OTIP was founded by the four education affiliates (AEFO, ETFO, OECTA, OSSTF) and our primary focus is serving the needs of educators.
