OTIP is proud to announce a new partnership with the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations
Waterloo, ON — OTIP is proud to announce a new partnership with the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA), grounded in a shared commitment to supporting student health, well-being, and positive school experiences across Ontario.
“OFSAA plays an important role in shaping positive student experiences through sport, teamwork, and leadership,” said Vic Medland, CEO of OTIP. “This partnership reflects our shared belief in the power of school sport to build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. We’re proud to support OFSAA in creating opportunities for student-athletes to thrive, alongside the teacher-coaches and school communities who make these programs possible.”
As part of the partnership, OTIP will provide sponsorship to support OFSAA’s athletic programming and provincial championships, helping expand access to meaningful sport experiences for students across the province.
OFSAA oversees athletic programming and provincial championships for thousands of student-athletes across Ontario, fostering excellence, inclusion, and a strong connection between education and school sport.
“By bringing OFSAA and the Ontario Teachers' Insurance Plan together, this partnership reflects a shared commitment to education, opportunity, and long-term impact,” said Shamus Bourdon, Executive Director, OFSAA. “We’re excited about this collaboration and the shared benefits for schools and students in the future.”
Through this partnership, OTIP continues to advance one of its core community investment pillars: supporting student health and well-being through impactful, community-based partnerships.
