OTIP Community Fund

The OTIP Community Fund is an investment initiative created to support the charitable programs that matter most to our people and communities. Through the OTIP Community Fund, we support charitable organizations that drive positive social and sustainable change, and support improved health, wellness and educational outcomes across the province.

Supporting charitable organizations and programs

Charitable organizations can make a request for funding through our donation request form.

Requests are evaluated annually and must be received by 11:59 p.m. on June 15. Funding request outcomes are communicated by September 15 each year.

To be eligible, organizations must be a registered Canadian charity.

Funding preference is given to projects, programs or campaigns that drive measurable social and sustainable change, and support improved health, wellness and educational outcomes across the province. While funding amounts may vary, requests for more than $5,000 are not typically considered under this program.

Funding is not generally provided for:

Political or religious groups or organizations.

Boards of trade, chambers of commerce, service clubs, or third-party fundraisers.

Individual pursuits.

Sports or sports-related organizations.

Daycares, schools, universities or colleges.

Endowment funds and private foundations.

Advertising or promotion.
