Obtaining an Insurance Quote
Our Platforms offer a secure way of comparing insurance quotes from competing providers. To obtain the most accurate rate and to maximize your eligibility for discounts, it is important to provide accurate information. If, as part of the purchase process, information provided to insurers is subsequently established to be false, an insurance policy may be voided. Additional information may be required by our licensed insurance brokers over the phone in order to process or review your request.
In the event where you provide personal information regarding a third party, you confirm that such third party has authorized you to disclose such personal information to us.
By clicking on certain buttons marked "yes," "next," "confirm," "continue" and any other similar descriptions, you agree that making these selections constitutes authorization to proceed to the next stage of the quote process.
Please note that any quote or premium provided through the Platforms are not guaranteed and may be reviewed with you over the phone by one of our licensed insurance brokers.
Electronic or Paper Documents
When you purchase an insurance policy, we give you the option to electronically access most of your insurance documents or you can still choose to receive a paper copy of these documents by mail. If you choose online access only, you understand that these electronic documents may be used as evidence and will have the same force of law as if you had received them by mail.
By choosing electronic documents only, you agree that the email address you provided is your last known address and that you are responsible for notifying us, in a timely manner, of any email address change.
Your My Member Account
To access your My Member Account and complete insurance and/or benefits transactions online, you will need your email address and password to log in to the Platforms. You are required to keep your login credentials safe and secure and not share your password with others. We recommend using a strong, unique password and updating it regularly. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.
Your insurance and/or benefits documents will be available on the Platforms in your My Member Account. Through your My Member Account, you may be able to:
Modify or update your insurance policy and/or benefits information, including changes to coverage, beneficiaries, or contact details, subject to eligibility and applicable terms.
Submit insurance claims, track the status of submitted claims, and view claim history.
Certain information in your My Member Account is presented in summary form. Users must always refer to their official insurance and/or benefits documentation for a complete and accurate description of their selected coverage and entitlements.
If you choose to enable biometric authentication (such as facial or fingerprint recognition) to access the mobile application, you acknowledge that this feature is provided through your device’s operating system and is subject to its security protocols. By enabling this feature, you authorize any biometric data stored on your device to be used to access your My Member Account. You are solely responsible for ensuring that only your biometric data is registered on your device. We are not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from the use of biometric authentication.
Specific Terms for the Use of Digital Proof of Insurance
By choosing to access your digital proof of insurance (“DPI”) through our mobile application, you consent to receive your DPI in digital format via the app or your My Member Account, where applicable.
Use of the DPI is voluntary. If you do not agree to these terms, you must carry a paper copy of your proof of insurance. You are responsible for ensuring that all drivers of your insured vehicle are aware of and agree to these terms, and that they have access to the most recent version of the DPI.
You acknowledge that using the DPI involves certain risks, including:
Potential exposure of personal information if your device is unlocked or notifications are visible.
Inaccessibility of the DPI if your device is offline, powered off, locked, or if you are unable to access the app.
It is your responsibility to ensure your device is capable of displaying the most current version of the DPI. Some jurisdictions may not accept digital proof of insurance. You are responsible for ensuring you comply with the legal requirements of any region in which you operate your vehicle.
For your safety and in compliance with applicable laws, do not access the DPI while driving.
