We’re here to support you

We’ve experienced a lot of changes throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and have had to adapt to unusual circumstances. This may have caused you feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, stress, or burnout.

We want you to know that you are not alone, and when it comes to your well-being, we are here to support you.

We have compiled information to help connect you to the resources and support you need, when you need it. Whether it is access to mental health services for you or your family, or tools on how to speak with your children or students, we are here to help.

Visit Mental Health Resources for a comprehensive list of resources on mental health organizations/services, mindfulness and meditation resources, crisis line telephone services, and youth resources.

It’s important to note that there are digital mental health resources available to you, such as FeelingBetterNow® an online resource that allows you to access mental health tools tailored to your needs.

The Starling Minds program is also available to help support you with managing stress, anxiety, burnout and depression. This self-guided, online program is available to you 24/7 and is designed to provide you with tools to improve your mental well-being. Go to member.starlingminds.com to register and enter the access code that was provided to you.

These digital resources are available to eligible OTIP members.

Be sure to also visit edvantage.ca where you’ll find the latest about Edvantage discounts, offers, contests and partners – all exclusive to the education community.

Did you know that we also offer Carepath*, a cancer assistance program? Carepath provides services to help you navigate the complex heath care system so you and your family members who are newly diagnosed with cancer or have a cancer recurrence can receive the very best cancer-related treatment, information, and support.

*Carepath is available for eligible OTIP members and their immediate family (spouse or children) who have been diagnosed with cancer.

We understand that the resources and tools we have provided here may not be enough to support you through these difficult times. If you continue to struggle with your mental well-being, we encourage you to speak to your primary health-care provider.
