Life at OTIP and its group of companies

We understand that staying connected, whether with coworkers or senior leaders, is a key element to creating a sense of community at work.

At OTIP and its group of companies, we find unique ways to engage both onsite employees as well as those working remotely. Whether through our interactive employee intranet, Town Hall meetings led by our Executive Committee, or fun employee events like Corporate Fun Day, we work hard to ensure all of our employees feel a sense of belonging.

Committees are a unique aspect of how we do things at OTIP. Whether it’s the Healthy Workplace committee, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee, the Health and Safety committee or the Social committee, employees are actively involved in various company-wide initiatives and activities that make OTIP a great place to work.

We also understand that people have lives outside of work, and we do our best to incorporate family-friendly activities into the schedule.

 

Employee Health and Well-being

 

We care about our employees and the people they care about. So it’s no surprise that we put a great deal of time and effort into designing our benefits package. Careful consideration was given to ensure that our package meets the varying needs of all our employees.

We have a variety of programs, committees and events that focus on the well-being of our employees at the forefront.

 

Community Involvement

 

We have a long history of community involvement. The OTIP Community Fund, for example, supports charitable programs in the communities where we live and work that contribute to the ongoing success of families and youth, member health, and social improvement.

 

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

 

At OTIP and our group of companies, diversity, equity and inclusion is a key area of focus. Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee is made up of staff from across OTIP, and focuses on awareness, education and policy creation. The committee created OTIP's first-ever Diversity & Inclusion statement:
