Please be advised that by attending and/or participating in this event, you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.  

By entering the event premises, you consent and give the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP) the absolute right and permission to take, record, use and publicize for an indefinite period of time, photograph(s), video(s), with or without sound, on any promotional materials and publications and in any publicity efforts, advertising and marketing campaigns, and for display at, including but not limited to, conferences, conventions, tournaments, and workshops, and in any and on all forms of media and social media now known or hereafter devised, including, but not limited to, the Internet, Facebook, X (previously Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube and OTIP’s web site, unless prohibited by law, all without further consent and without any compensation whatsoever, worldwide and in perpetuity.  

You irrevocably and unconditionally fully release, forever discharge and indemnify OTIP, its affiliated companies and any of their parents, affiliates, agents, and contractors, including advertising and promotional agencies, their directors, trustees, officers, employees, and each of their respective successors, assigns, heirs, parents, affiliates, agents and contractors, and legal representatives (all such persons and entities for purposes of this to be referred to as, “OTIP”) from any and all liability, losses, expenses (including legal fees and disbursements), damages and claims of any kind incurred or inferred in connection with the use of your photograph(s) and/or video(s) capturing your image, including without limitation, any loss or claims based on publicity rights, defamation and/or invasion of privacy which you or your heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, successors or assigns may now or hereafter have against OTIP. 

You further agree and understand that you will not be compensated in any manner, financial or otherwise, now, or in the future, worldwide or in perpetuity, by OTIP or by any related party to OTIP, its successors, heirs, agents or assigns for the use of your image (photograph), the use of the video capturing your image, with or without sound, and hereby consent to the use of your image in photographs and/or videos by OTIP of your own free will for OTIP’s use at OTIP’s discretion on its promotional materials and publicity efforts, described above.  

If you want to minimize your chances of being photographed or filmed, please avoid areas where cameras are present. OTIP cannot guarantee you will not be filmed or photographed if you are in the respective areas.
