You may be eligible for a discount if:

- You’re a student or a student with a driver's licence lives in your household and attends school away from home.
- You’re retired.
- Your property is also insured with OTIP.
- You own multiple vehicles.
- You’ve been with OTIP or your immediate prior insurance carrier for three or more years.
- You’re claims-free and have been licenced for over 15 years.
- You have a clean driving record, with no traffic violations in the last three years.
- You completed a Drive for Life course within the last two years.
- Your vehicle is protected with an after-market ignition cut-off system or monitored alarm system.
- You drive a hybrid, meaning it runs on both a gasoline engine and an electric motor.
There are no maximums to the discounts offered.
