The Education Extra Package is available exclusively through OTIP*. It can be added to your home, condo or tenant insurance to increase your personal property coverage, including the items you leave in your classroom.

In addition to extended coverage that protects your teaching supplies and even school board property, this package also provides enhanced coverage for additional items, items including mortgage payment protection, property of a student away from home to attend school ($25,000) and personal property belonging to a parent in a nursing home ($20,000).
