We are excited to inform our members about some upcoming changes to the Active Retired Members (ARM) plan.

As of January 1, 2022, OTIP will combine the Retired Teachers Insurance Plan (RTIP) and Active Retired Members (ARM) plans to offer the same reliable product under one name. Members in the ARM plan will now see the plan referred to as the RTIP plan in our communications.

This exciting change does not impact coverage, and members will still be able to be actively involved with their local ARM chapters. OTIP is committed to enhancing our retiree plans and understands the importance of flexible, reliable coverage.

In November members will receive their annual renewal package which outlines important information about their coverage, as well as additional information about upcoming changes to our retiree plans.

If you are member of a retiree plan and will be travelling this fall and winter, please make sure that your contact information is up to date to ensure that you will receive your renewal by email.
