Travel claims are paid directly by Allianz where possible. If you need to pay up front, be sure to ask for an itemized bill from the service provider and detailed physician’s notes including assessment of medical condition.

NOTE: Once the attending physician feels that, based on the medical evidence, you or your eligible family member is stable enough to return to your home province or territory or continue with your travels, any further related expenses to this medical emergency will not be covered by your benefits plan. Additionally, if you incur expenses for a previously diagnosed injury or medical condition that was not medically stable prior to departure, they will not be eligible under your plan Out-of-Province/Out-of-Country coverage.
