Recently, Manulife announced an exclusive partnership with Shoppers Drug Mart Inc./Loblaw Companies Ltd. related to their Specialty Drug Care (SDC) program.
As a result of plan rules provided by the group benefit plans administered by OTIP, OTIP plan members are not included in Manulife’s Specialty Drug Care (SDC) program.
Therefore, the deal between Manulife and Shoppers Drug Mart Inc./Loblaws will not have any impact on our plan members.
